Favorite Legendary Pokémon
We can't have a Pokémon game without the Legendries of it so I decided to list off which ones are my favorite ones. As always, anything will go and I most likely have different experiences with these Pokémon then you did. If you dislike a Pokémon on this list, then that's fine with me. I will not stop liking these however.

Generation 1: Kanto
Mewtwo: Ok I know a lot of people like Mewtwo and I am one of those people. But I think the main reason people like this Pokémon is because of what happened during the movies. That's the reason I like Mewtwo. Mewtwo in the movies as well as the games is the clone of Mew. In the movie though, Mewtwo was working for Giovanni but he ended up going against him. Then he thought that humans were bad and tried to destroy them. Those were all really cool and I liked that Mewtwo managed to figure out what he had been doing wrong by the end of the movie. Though I do like Mewtwo better in the second movie featuring him when it's shown that he's still continuing to learn about the humans and what it truly means to be alive at this point. I still like Mewtwo. In game, he is a very powerful Pokémon. He is known as the strongest Psychic type in the game so of course he would be one of the strongest Pokémon in the game. Though when Generation 6 came around, he got 2 Mega Evolutions. The only reason he got two was because he was so popular but it would have been better if they had only given him one. Now I really didn't think he needed to have two Megas but that's what they wanted to do. Also, I don't really like the designs of the Megas as they look kind of off to me every time I look at them. I never really used Mewtwo in the games because we couldn't even catch Mewtwo until post game but that is a minor thing.

Generation 2: Johto
Celebi: Celebi is one of the cutest Legendries I have since for a while. Celebi is the time traveling Pokémon as well as being a Psychic/Grass type Pokémon. I always thought that it was a good typing for Celebi. I always liked the fact that Celebi could easily travel back time whenever it wanted to or when it thought it was in danger. In fact traveling back in time to get out of danger sounds like a really good strategy in the long run. Given her powers, it just fits. Oh yeah about that. Due to the movie and to a conversation with a friend, I believe that Celebi can be a female. Yes I know that Celebi and the rest of the Legendries have no genders most of the time but hey that's just how I see it. Also thinking that it's a female just helps me like her even more than I already did. Celebi really seems like a free spirit kind of Pokémon that was really hard to find in the wild. Seriously I don't think I knew anyone growing up who actually had a Celebi. I know you could get them through an event but I don't ever remember if the event was released here in the states or not. Which was kind of a bummer because I really wanted one but I thought I would never get one. That was until recently of course. Recently, for the 20th birthday of Pokémon, they started to give out some of the Legendries for Alpha Sapphire. They are giving some from a code you could get from Game Stop and some that are coming over from Wi-Fi. I don't live near a Game Stop so I can't get all of them but Celebi was available over Wi-Fi. I finally got one of them! I'm really glad about that.

Generation 3: Hoenn
Jirachi: If you haven't noticed by now, I like most of these Legendries because of their movies. This being the fact that most of these Legendries aren't really available in the game until very late or through an event. So I don't really have much knowledge of them being in the games in the first place. Jirachi is another I like because of how it was in the movie at first. Jirachi is a wish granting Pokémon but it can't really grant them. What I mean is in the movie Jirachi needed to use Teleport or some other of its powers in order to grant the wish. I liked that they did that in the long run and it made for some reaction from the crew. Instead of making Jirachi an all-powerful being that can grant any wish it wants, it has to use its powers to somewhat grant the wishes. Meaning there would be wishes that Jirachi will not be able to grant for one reason or another. Although it could possible still grant the wishes just not the way you think it would be grant which again is kind of cool. Also I love that Jirachi would run out of energy after a couple of wishes and need to rest. I had gotten one in game one time when I had Diamond version. Unfortunately my Diamond version stopped working so I lost that Jirachi. I felt really bad losing my Jirachi since I really liked them. However, for the 20th birthday of Pokémon, they are planning to hand out Jirachi again over Wi-Fi and I can't wait to get Jirachi again.

Generation 4: Sinnoh
Cresselia: Now this is one of the few Legendries that I've never seen in a movie, if I'm wrong please correct me, and I would actually like to see it in a movie one day. I like Cresselia due to its lore as well as its job. Cresselia is known as the Lunar Pokémon and she is a Psychic type Pokémon. Many of the Pokédex entries talk about how if you hold a Lunar wing, which comes from a Cresselia, then you will have joyful dreams. Also we need to remember that Cresselia is the opposite Darkrai. In fact Cresselia is the only way to wake someone up from one of Darkrai's nightmares and that's awesome. I can totally see it using it's Psychic power to wake you up from a nightmare that Darkrai brought about and make sure that you were ok. Before when I heard about Darkrai's powers and that it can make sure someone wouldn't wake up, I wondered what in the world could even come close to matching it and helping the people affected by Darkrai's powers. When I heard about Cresselia, I thought it was a great idea and thought that if I was under Darkrai's spell, I would like to have Cresselia help me out as well as in the games, though I did manage to catch one in Pokémon Alpha Sapphire version. Also Cresselia is so pretty and it's colors are nice and soft. Though this makes me wonder how in the world the Lunar wing is green and yellow since it's supposed to be from Cresselia itself. Cresselia doesn't have any green on her so I'm not sure how that works. Oh well I guess. I still like the Pokémon.

Generation 5: Unova
Victini: I had no idea that Victini was in Black and White until I heard about it from my friend. I hadn't got the game just yet but she had and found out about this Pokémon. She told me that it was actually available in the game before the end of the game which I was kind of surprised about. After all most Legendries aren't even available to catch until after the Pokémon League, well except the roaring Legendries in Heart Gold but these were still a pain. Actually it was at a place a couple of towns in believe it or not. She wasn't totally sure how to get the Pokémon in game, as she had discovered it completely be accident herself, but she told me where to look it up if I wanted to figure out. But I decided to wait until I got the game and try to figure out where it was in the first place by myself for once. So I was curious about it and then I finally got the game. I started to look around and found a ship at the harbor. I couldn't enter the ship so I continued on. A little bit later, after doing some stuff, I got a ticket and figured it was for the ship. So I went in and found a Pokémon inside of it deep inside the ship. Without even thinking about it, I battled it and got Victini in the first battle, though it did take a couple of Timer Balls to catch, who is really cute. Victini seems to be really powerful as well as it took a few of my Pokémon out before I finally managed to catch it. Then later I figured out that it was actually the Legendary Pokémon I had been trying to find. It was actually the first Legendary I caught without the Master Ball. I was proud about that one. So due to my experience in getting it, it's my favorite for this Region.

Generation 6: Kalos
Yveltal: Pokémon Y is actually the first game I had downloaded onto my 3DS. Even so I liked the game a lot. Most of the Pokémon I liked, though a few I had personal problems with, and I liked the area. Then we got to the point where we find the Legendary Pokémon and since I got Y version, I got Yveltal. Though the thing was, I don't remember a lot of people talking about Yveltal in game. I mean I think there were a few people talking about it but it only gave general information on. All the other Legendries at least had more people talking about them in game, or at least I think. First off, that cutscene with Yveltal coming to life right in front of you was really awesome. I really felt like I was going to have to work hard in order to catch this thing and I needed to catch it in order to save the world. None of the other Legendries ever made me feel that. They usually made me annoyed to how hard it was to catch them. Secondly this is the second Legendary I caught by using an Ultra Ball. Yes I had the Master Ball by then but I heard Mewtwo was in the game as well. Knowing how tough Mewtwo was, I didn't want to have to face it without my Master Ball. So I used a Ultra Ball on Yveltal. If I remember correctly, after weakening it of course, it only me three Ultra Ball before it caught. I guess I just got really lucky. As I love the back story for this one. It's known as the Pokémon to bring death and destruction. Though it's terrifying to think about, I think it's also kind of cool to think about a Pokémon that had that much power behind it.

Generation 7: Alola
Meltan: I don't not understand the hate this Pokémon. It's so cute. I really like this one. Sure I don't like that the only way to get it is through Pokémon Go but that's a minor detail for me as I have just recently gotten into Pokémon Go. Meltan is a Metal type Legendary Pokémon, there haven't been many like this before. It got a silver blob of a body and gold nut of a head, which actually is really cute. People are mad because this thing looks Ditto but that's the reason I like it. It's a simple design that fits well with how the Pokémon acts. After all, the Pokédex entry for Let's Go says that it melts down iron and metal into their bodies. That makes a lot of sense with the body the way it is. Also the special trailer we saw for Meltan was it eating metal. Also it's got a really cool ability which is Magnet Pull. It when Steel types can't switch out of battle which is a great way to hinder some trainers if it was brought out in battle. I think this might work with Pokémon that are only half Steel as well so that's also cool.

Generation 8: Galar
:
Come on. I had to say which ones were my favorite. As usual I don't own Pokemon.
