Julia's Story 2

Chapter 2
The next day, they went back and found all Julia's Pokémon were there. Julia was happy to see them all but she knew that her father had more. The Pokémon wanted to play so Julia played with them.

Julia noticed Lucario and smiled, "Hey Lucario do you want to play?"

Lucario didn't even look up when she called him. Julia sighed and thought for a moment. Then an idea came to her mind and Ash knew what she was thinking.

Julia ran over to her father and asked, "Why won't Lucario have any fun?"

Ash sighed and said, "That's the way he was trained. He learned how to use Aura Sphere when he was just a Riolu."

"Mind if I try to teach him to have fun." Julia said.

Ash looked at Lucario and said, "Fine but don't do anything that will get you hurt."

Julia ran off saying, "No promises."

Ash looked like he was about to say something but stopped himself. Julia found a bucket and called Corphish. Then Corphish filled the bucket with water, and Julia went over to Lucario. She quietly walked over to him and got ready.

"Hey Lucario lighten up." Julia said as she slashed the water on him.

When the water hit, Lucario quickly sat up. Julia was smiling but she was also ready to run. Lucario stood up and looked mad. Julia turned and ran as fast as she could. Then Lucario tackled her and put her arms behind her back.

"OWWW!!" Julia yelled.

Ash sighed and said, "Lucario it was just a joke so let her go."

Lucario let go and started to walk away. Then the ground started to shake and a large robot came up. Misty and Gary came running out to see what was going on.

"Guess who!" Three voices said at once.

"Team Rocket!" Ash and Misty yelled.

"That's right and now say good bye to your Pokémon." One of them said.

"No way Pikachu go." Ash yelled.

"Yuki you too." Julia yelled.

Both Yuki and Pikachu ran forward and attacked. Their attack hit but didn't do much damage.

"Nice try but not good enough." One said.

The robot then grabbed some of the Pokémon and put them in a net.

"Not so fast! Monferno used Flamethrower and Yuki use Shadow Ball." Julia yelled.

Ash smiled and yelled, "Pikachu Volt Tackle and Lucario Aura Sphere."

All four of them attack and that does a lot of damage. Staraptor used Wing Attack to break the net open, and the Pokémon ran out. Team Rocket came out of the damaged robot and was ready to fight. But before they could, Julia and Ash attack one more time. They went blasting off without much of a fight.

Julia sighed and said, "So that was Team Rocket?"

Ash nodded and said, "They haven't changed a bit. Their still very easy to beat."

Julia sighed and saw Cosmo standing there. Cosmo looked like she was getting into a stance. Julia notice the stance looked like Lucario's Aura Sphere stance. Julia smiled and walked over to Cosmo.

"Hey Cosmo do you want to learn Aura Sphere, too?" Julia asked.

Cosmo smiled and nodded. Julia started training Cosmo to use Aura Sphere but it didn't work at first. Lucario became interested and started to watch. One time Cosmo almost used Aura Sphere but it failed.

Julia sighed and said, "Don't worry Cosmo. You'll get it sooner or later."

Cosmo nodded but then an Aura Sphere almost hit her. Julia looked to see Lucario standing up and shoot another Aura Sphere. Cosmo jumped out of the way, tried Aura Sphere, but it failed again. Lucario only smiled and shot another Aura Sphere. This one hit Cosmo and sent her flying. Then Lucario shot another one at her and that hit her too.

Ash ran over, grabbed Lucario, and yelled, "Lucario Stop!"

Julia ran over to Cosmo, "Cosmo are you ok?"

Cosmo groaned and slowly stood up. Cosmo started to walk forward but Julia grabbed her.

"Cosmo it's over……..please stop." Julia said sadly.

Cosmo looked down and growled slightly. Julia picked her up and Gary came running over. Gary lead them back inside so he could help Cosmo.

Ash let go of Lucario and said, "That was uncalled for Lucario. You really hurt Cosmo and all she was trying to do was get stronger."

Lucario humped and walked off. Ash ran inside to see of Cosmo was alright. Gary told them she would be fine but she needed rest. Later Julia was running through the hall looking around. She found her parents and stopped to catch her breath. They stood up wondering what was wrong.

"Have you seen Cosmo?" Julia asked worried.

They shook their heads and Julia's eye began to fill with tears.

Misty ran over and asked, "What's wrong?"

Julia said, "I went to check on Cosmo but she wasn't there. I tried to find her but I couldn't"

Ash said, "Come on."

They all ran out to find Cosmo. They looked everywhere but there was no sign of her. It was getting late so they had to go home. Julia couldn't stop worrying about Cosmo. The next day, they went back but there still was no sign of Cosmo.

Julia sighed and said, "Where is she?"

Misty said, "Don't worry Julia. She'll come back."

Julia was too upset to listen and released her Pokémon. Julia sat down and Yuki sat down next to her, also upset. Ash sighed, looked at Lucario, and sat down. Lucario didn't seem to be too upset to Cosmo was gone.  Then the ground started to shake again and a different robot appeared.

"It's them again……Man can't we get a break." Julia said as Team Rocket laughed.

The robot tried to grab some of the Pokémon but grabbed Julia instead. Julia tried to get free but the robot was too strong.

One said, "Well what luck. Don't move or she'll get it."

The robot started to tighten its grip on her. They stood there not sure what to do. Then something jumped out of the trees. It shot an Aura Sphere at the robot. It hit and the robot released its grip. Julia started to fall but it caught her. It landed on the ground and set her down.

Julia looked at it and smiled, "Cosmo!"

Cosmo, now a shiny Lucario, stood there smiling. The robot tried to grab Cosmo but she jumped out of the way.

"Cosmo use Aura Sphere and Yuki use Shadow Ball." Julia yelled.

"Don't have all the fun. Pikachu use Thunderbolt and Lucario use Aura Sphere." Ash yelled also.

The attacks hit and Team Rocket went blasting off once again.  

Julia hugged Cosmo and said, "I'm glad your back. I was worried about you."

Cosmo nodded and smiled again. Ash, Misty, and Gary also smiled but Lucario was looking at Cosmo. Ash looked at Lucario and got a little confused.

Ash asked, "Hey Lucario are you ok?"

Lucario turned a little red, nodded, and walked off. Ash looked from Lucario to Cosmo and then back to Lucario.

Ash smiled and said, "Well what do you know….."

Julia looked at Ash and said, "Hey dad."

Ash looked at her and asked, "What?"

"Can you teach me how to use the power of Aura now? Cosmo's evolved into a Lucario. Please?" Julia asked.

Ash sighed and said, "Alright."

Julia yelled, "Wahoo!"

Ash said, "We'll start your training now."

Julia nodded and they started training. Just like before, Lucario was watching them but he was mostly watching Cosmo. Julia tried to deflect an Aura Sphere but it failed. Julia landed on the ground with a thud and groaned.

Ash asked, "Are you ok?"

Julia sat up and said, "That was stronger than I thought it would be."

Cosmo smiled, walked over, and helped Julia up. They tried again and this time Julia got it. The Aura Sphere went flying over to Lucario but he jumped out of the way.

Julia said, "Sorry Lucario it was an accident."

Lucario just sat back down and Cosmo sighed. Ash looked happy to not see Lucario upset.

"Ok this time work on dodging Cosmo's other moves." Ash explained.

Julia nodded and Cosmo used Force Palm. Julia dodged it but then Cosmo used Close Combat. Julia dodged them all but one. She couldn't get out of the way in time and stood ready for the hit. She saw Lucario grab Cosmo's wrist stopping the attack. Julia stood there really confused as Lucario let go and walked away.

"Oh ok that's new." Julia said.

Ash laughed slightly and said, "I knew it."

Julia looked at Ash and asked, "Knew what?"

"I think Lucario has a crush on Cosmo. I fact I'm pretty sure that's what's going on." Ash answered smiling.

"But why help me out?" She asked.

"Because he's trying to get on Cosmo's good side." Misty said walking up.

Julia looked at Lucario and sighed. Later Julia caught herself looking at the badges and then going to bed. Her father caught it too and smiled.
