My Least Favorite Pokémon
Ok so when judging my least favorite Pokémon, anything can go. It might seem unfair to dislike a Pokémon for a certain reason, but they're my reasons and I'm sticking to them. Also if a Pokémon you happen to like shows up on this list, then sorry but I'm not taking back my opinion. You can defend it all you want but it won't change the fact I dislike these Pokémon. Remember anything goes so sit tight.

Generation 1: Kanto
Bellsprout: I never liked Bellsprout from the moment I saw it. It just didn't look right to me it being basically a walking flower of some kind. I don't even know at this point. I mean I get they were trying to be creative with the Grass types here but at least Oddish is nice to look at. I never even wanted to use Bellsprout but every game, it's almost like I was forced to do so. See I'm a Fire starter user so I never really saw much in the Grass types since I could easily burn them with my Fire types. Even so I could see some use in the Grass types and acknowledged their strength when other people used them. But every game until the recent Generations, I needed to use the move Cut which meant I needed a Grass type in order to learn it. I know there are others that can learn Cut as well but I didn't feel like teaching it to my Fire type and I usually didn't have another Pokémon that I could use it on. But every time I went to find one of those Grass types, all I ever found were these stupid Bellsprouts. And yes I did make sure to go looking and not stop after a few tries. I just couldn't find anything other than these darn Bellsprouts. Seriously? I would have loved it if I could have found an Oddish by that point because at least I wouldn't mind putting on my team for a short time so I can use Cut. I couldn't go back because there were no Grass Types the way I came and I couldn't go forward without that Cut ability. And none of the other Pokémon I caught in the PC could learn this move for some unknown reason. So I was forced to catch one of these things in to get the Cut ability. So I would catch one, teach it Cut, get to the town, and shove it into my PC never to look at it again. And let's not get started with its Sleep Powder that we had to deal with when we fought one of these stupid things. It made it so much more annoying to catch than it was supposed to be for that earlier in the game. I know that it has evolved forms but those really aren't any better if only a little more tolerable. Not to mention that it’s final form needs a Leaf Stone which were had to get until recently in the games. Still doesn't help the fact that I wish I never had to catch one of these things. The only reason I got in the later games was so I could fill up the Pokédex.

Generation 2: Johto
Unown: When the Unown was first seen in the movie with them in it, I thought they were actually pretty cool. The powers they showed off in the movie looked really unique and worked well with the Unown's form. I thought that this would be a very useful Pokémon to have on the team. For a time, I actually thought about catching one and putting it on my team. You know to try it out for a little bit. Then I tried to catch one, which was easier said than done, considering most of them are only in one area in the whole game. I never really made it that far in Emerald in order to find the Unown and they were nowhere else in the game. When I got Pokémon Y, I finally managed to catch one of these Pokémon and found out they were useless. The only move they can learn is Hidden Power which only works well against certain Pokémon. I thought since it's a Psychic type, it would know some more Psychic type moves like all the other Psychic type Pokémon out there had. I mean I wouldn't have minded if Hidden Power was its special move and have it be able to learn other moves as well. That would have been completely fine with me. This thing could have been a good Psychic type Pokémon. But no they just decided to give it one move and completely ruin a Pokémon that was good in the movie. The only thing that is good about this thing is that it's forms are of the alphabet, which are pretty cool. But that's about it for this Pokémon. The only problem is that it's really hard to get all of the symbols though I did manage to get all of the letters. And the only reason I did that was because I was bored one day with nothing better to do. So yeah. I have all the letters due to this reason.

Generation 3: Hoenn
Castform: Why is this even a thing? Seriously? Why is this thing even a Pokémon? Castform is a Pokémon made purely for a gimmick and not even a good gimmick at that. Castform can basically change form depending on the weather. If I remember correctly though, Hoenn didn't have much in the way of weather. Of course I never really played much of Emerald because they save file got corrupted so if I'm wrong, please tell me. Still even if I'm wrong, I have a feeling it will not change that this Pokémon was purely made for the weather gimmick in the games. In Alpha Sapphire, there were more places that actually had rain and one area with snow but that's about it. Now there is nothing wrong with having a Pokémon that is based around a gimmick. In fact I really don't see anything wrong with them most of the time. For this one, it's useless outside of its gimmick. That's the only thing it's good for and that's why I don't like it's gimmick. Yes I know there are moves that allowed you to change the weather at will but I never used those moves once throughout my games. My Pokémon team never needed them so I never spent the time to even learn them. Getting those moves on my Pokémon felt like I was using up a slot that could be used for another attack which could have been more helpful in the long run. Which meant Castform was completely useless to me just like Unown were. Sure if someone uses weather and can find a use for this thing, fine. The only time I ever needed a Castform was during Alpha Sapphire when they made it so you had to have one to get some of the Legendries. Most of the time Castform only sat in my PC not being used. Also I think they were trying go for the cute angle, but I think they messed that up as well. It looks more weird than anything cute like a misshaped cloud. The other forms that it takes aren't much better in the long run including their designs.

Generation 4: Sinnoh
Magmortar: When I heard Magmar was going to get a new evolved form for Sinnoh, I was actually looking forward to it. I thought since the other two evolutions were pretty good, I thought there was no way that they could mess up the third form. That was until one of my high school friends showed me a picture of what the third evolution looked like. I can't tell you how surprised I was to see Magmortar looked like that. How could they had messed it up this badly? Magmortar is so ugly. It's fat, it has a very weird face on it, and the legs are so small that it's a wonder that it can even hold him up. The only thing good about this thing is the cannons on its arms. I don't care how powerful it is, I don't care what kind of moves it can learn, heck I don't even care that you need to trade in order to evolve this thing. I can't get past how this thing looks. The colors also doing look right to me for some reason. Usually red and yellow on a Fire type looks good but this one it just doesn’t look good at all. Magby was cute and Magmar was actually pretty cool looking but this thing is a mess. Maybe they were trying to go with something unique for the typing but seriously was this all they could think of for this Pokémon? I wish they would change how it looks but it's too late for that now. And guess what I just figured out? That pink stuff on its face is actually it's lips. And I thought it couldn't get any worse! The lips on that thing are huge making me wonder why in the world they decided to design it like this. I mean I know that not every Pokémon can be a perfect design but this one is so bad that I didn’t want to be anywhere near this thing. I never wanted one of these things not even for the Pokédex. Heck my friend traded me her Magmar so it would evolve and I would get the entry. But with the new Generation coming about, I had to cave and trade for one of these things so that way I can have the entry in the next Generation. I really hate this thing.

Generation 5: Unova
Stunfisk: Ok with all the people complaining about the Pokémon in Unova, I'm surprised no one actually complains about this one. Seriously? This thing looks like it's a fish that got run over with a steamroller. I mean I guess they did something interesting with the typing, it being an Electric and a Ground type, but they really could have thought of something a little more with it. Maybe they could have used a Pokémon that looked more like a rock that had an Electric charge running through it. Also there's something else. I never knew this one was a Unova Pokémon. I never once saw it in my play through of White and I got all the way to N's Castle in that play through. I never remember encountering this Pokémon in the wild and I really don't remember any of the other trainers having one of these things in their teams. If I'm wrong, please tell me where you can find this thing so I can try to find it myself. When my college friend brought up the fact that a Stunfisk could be caught in Generation 6, I asked her what she was talking about. She explained that it was a Pokémon found in a certain place in Kalos but I still couldn’t picture what she was talking about. So I went to catch one of them, only to find out that they were hard to find and hard to catch, so that way I could see what they were. Also they were hard to catch considering the one that I found put up such a fight that it surprised me. Also it wouldn’t stay in the Pokeball. When I finally caught it and looked it up, it said that it was a Unova Pokémon. I couldn't believe that this thing was a Unova Pokémon. After catching this thing, I still barely remember that this thing is even in the Pokédex. I thought it was a new Pokémon that they introduced during the Kalos Region.

Generation 6: Kalos
Carbink: I couldn't even remember this Pokémon when it came out. I didn't even remember catching this thing. I was looking up Pokémon one day and found this thing on the Pokédex online. I really had to look inside of my game just to make sure I had this thing. I thought for a long time that it was supposed to evolve into something. Heck even my friend had no idea what I was talking about until I described what the Pokémon looked like to her. That's when she remembered it and told me more about it. Didn't help me remember this Pokémon though. I checked the website and with my friend only to find out that this thing doesn't evolve. Without that evolution, it feels like it's incomplete as a Pokémon. It just feels like something missing on this thing like something that would have made it even better for me in the first place. I mean it's another Rock type that has a high defense, like we haven't seen that a dozen times already. It did add Fairy to its typing but that's about it. It looks like a rock like all the other Rock type Pokémon out there. Again it added gems to the design of the Pokémon but again that little detail doesn't do much for me in the long run for this Pokémon. Also it doesn't help that it doesn't get any good moves until later levels. I am not going to train this thing when I know it's got no evolution even if it does have good moves later one. Not to mention that these things seem to be everywhere when I go out to train my Pokémon and they give out so little Exp. My brother said it’s because they only have one stage but I’ve seen other one stage that give out more Exp then these things. Great job guys. You actually made a Pokémon so bland that I forgot all about it.

Generation 7: Alola
Oricorio: One of the biggest disappointments I’ve ever had with Pokémon. When this Pokémon first was introduced and we saw that it would have a form change as well as a type change, I really thought that this would be a good Pokémon. I ever tried to run one on my team for a while. Then I got to the Water Trial during Pokémon Sun and my Pom-Pom form continued to lose considering the fact that it had no Electric moves. That’s when I decided to look up its moves and I got crushed. The Electric form doesn’t even learn any Electric type moves! Seriously! Not one. Not even the weakest move that you always get with low level Electric types. Not even a chance to learn an Electric type move through a TM or some kind of Tutor. No it can’t learn any move that would go with the typing that you picked at all. I know it’s supposed to have a move that changes depending on the form you chose. But that’s the thing. You don’t get that move until much later in the levels, I think it’s in the 50’s when you get this move. So let me get this straight. I have to put up with an Electric type that can’t even learn an Electric type move until later levels and have to risk getting my butt kick when I need an Electric type for battling. No. I’m not going to do that! I’m not going to put up with that. I mean I guess that it learns some pretty good Flying type move but I caught another Pokémon much earlier for my Flying type. So, there was no point to have this thing on my team so I put it back into my PC boxes and never even though about trying it again. Really the only reason I’m catching these things is because of its form changes so I can have all of the forms. That’s so stupid. At least the other form changes in the series had moves that worked for their type. Want to know why. Because they didn’t change type. Most form changes stay a type of it’s other form so there was no need to change form. Now we have one that changes form and type and it’s one of the worse Pokémon I’ve ever seen. Actually, there was one that changes type and that is Rotom. But do you know why Rotom works and this bird doesn’t. Rotom can learn moves that go with his types changes. Sure, it’s only one or two moves but that’s enough for me considering one of the moves are powerful moves that it can use in battle. I can’t believe they did this to us.
If you like these Pokemon than that's fine with me. These are just the ones that I personally don't like for reason stated in the entries. Remember I don't own Pokemon in any way.
